Scientific Reconstruction - Dracovenator regenti

Dracovenator is an Early Jurassic theropod found from the Elliot Formation. Placed phylogenetically close to Dilophosaurus and Cryolophosaurus but being closer to Cryolophosaurus, major reconstructive basis was gathered from 3 primary animals; Dilophosaurus, Cryolophosaurus, and Zupaysaurus. Crests directly from Zupaysaurus although reduced, with the rest using known material and incorporating it to the other anatomy, such as the body as well. Lacrimals are extended in keratin within reason.
A lot of the coloration is inspired by its general ecology and environment, being more mud-colored with distractive camouflaging patterns.
A blogpost documenting its appearance will be posted within a short amount of time.
