Tyrantrum has always been a favorite of mine in the Pokemon franchise, especially due to its unique Tyrannosaur design, with the beard, its decorative horns, and its tusks. I decided to create a 3D Model and Texture through Minecraft to exhibit, although roughly, how a realistic Tyrantrum could turn out.
The purpose of this is to have a texturing exercise, practicing a shading technique that helps define shape in the way the light hits a surface. Rather than some content I was doing a while ago, where the shading would only get darker as the model descends, it takes into consideration the basic 3D shape some parts of the body would have, such as a protruded thigh, deep wrinkles, etc.
